The Morgan Monroe MFM-300 Mandolin features all solid Mahogany construction for darker tone than the traditional spruce/maple combination. The mahogany is finished in a hand applied satin finish that allows the wood to resonate freely. Additional features are: rosewood fingerboard and bridge, full binding on the neck and body, gold plated hardware a cast tailpiece, extended fingerboard and a limited lifetime warranty.

All Mahogany (solid woods used) construction give the MFM-300 and darker voice compared to your typical maple/spruce mandolin. This is perfect for players looking for a warmer tone.
